Idea

 The painting shows curious cats glued to a window and a butterfly on its frame. I feel like it's the most watched butterfly on earth. I was inspired by the cats in our studio. Whenever there's suspicious silence and none of them are visible, there's a fly, a wasp, or a butterfly on the window.

 The paintings Cats and the Fly, Cats and the Fly II, Kindergarteners and the Butterfly, and Kindergarteners and the Wasp are also designed in a similar spirit.

 Description

 The painting Cats and Butterfly is a printed graphic work. It is actually glazed to give the impression that the cats are behind the window. In these photos (on the website) it is without glass so that you can see the image clearly, without reflections.

 The dimensions of the picture are 42 x 29.7cm (approximately A3). It is framed in a thin white wooden frame. The butterfly is printed on stiffer paper and you have to cut it out and stick it on the picture frame. There are several butterflies in reserve.

 Care

 We do not recommend placing the paintings on walls exposed to sunlight for long periods of time. Since it is a printed graphic work, if the painting is damaged, we can send you a second one and you only need to replace it in the frame.
