When selling goods and operating our websites, we process your personal data. The purpose of these principles is to inform you about how we handle your data.

Personal data processing is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as "GDPR").

I. Processing of Personal Data

A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form

If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will work with your contact information that you provide, mainly through the contact form. This includes personal data in the following scope: name, surname, e-mail address, billing address, phone number, mailing address.

For what reason?

Based on the personal data you send, we will then contact you regarding our product offer.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, or carrying out pre-contractual measures at your request.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the supply of our goods or the provision of our services.

How long will we process the personal data? Unless we establish further cooperation, we will process your personal data for a maximum of 10 years from our last communication. We store your personal data to the extent permitted by applicable generally binding legal regulations. In exceptional cases, if circumstances require it, the retention period for personal data may be extended for reasons of asserting, proving, defending, and/or exercising the rights, claims, and legitimate interests of the data subject or our own, or for conducting our internal investigation. The length of such retention period is conditioned primarily by the duration of obligations related to, for example, the warranty we provide on our goods, as well as the necessity of retaining this personal data in case it is needed for proving, asserting, or defending legal claims.

B. Processing of personal data in case of a purchase

If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the personal data that we need from you to ensure the conclusion and performance of the contract for the provision of our goods or services. This is mainly billing information: name, surname, address, e-mail address, phone number.

For what reason?

We need to process personal data to be able to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – the delivery of goods. By using your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your questions.

We will further process personal data to fulfill our obligations arising from generally binding legal regulations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and others).

​

On what legal basis do we process personal data? This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.

If you do not provide us with this personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.

How long will we process the personal data?

During the delivery of goods and then for 10 years from the last delivery of goods (archiving period for accounting documents).

C. Newsletter (commercial communication)

If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not explicitly refused the sending of marketing communications, we will use your e-mail address to send our marketing communications.

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – our legitimate interests, which are marketing communications targeted at our customers.

How long will we process the personal data?

10 years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in each e-mail, or you can contact us at info@origima.sk.

II. Who has access to the data?

Your personal data will primarily remain with us. We only process personal data within the territory of the European Union.

III. What else you should know

​

 

We do not have a Data Protection Officer in our company, as this is not legally required for the scope of our processing.

​

In our company, decisions are not made exclusively based on automated processing or profiling that would have legal effects on you or significantly affect you.

• request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected

• and, if necessary, request the restriction of processing

• you can request a copy of the processed personal data

• request the deletion of personal data from us in certain situations (the so-called "right to be forgotten")

• in certain cases, you have the right to data portability.

An objection can be raised against processing based on legitimate interest.
